How do I dress for my oral presentation?

There’s no need to dress formally for your presentations. The regular clothes you wear to class are fine. Just use common sense, and avoid anything that your be distracting or somehow undercut your credibility.

What permissions do I need on LinkedIn?

For me to see your work on LinkedIn, I either need you to connect with me on LinkedIn or for you to make sure your privacy setting will let the public see your profile.

If you choose to connect with me, you can visit my LinkedIn profile page and use the Connect link under the email pulldown (shown below).

Can I get special accommodations in your course?

If you need special accommodations in this course, please contact Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) in 310 Lavery Hall (above the Turner Place Dining Center) on the first of class to ensure that you have the resources you need. The procedures and forms you need are also available on the SSD website. I am happy to work with the SSD staff to make sure that you have the support you need.

Documentation from the SSD office should be sent to me by the end of the first week of class. Note that any documentation must be for the current semester.
